This course is entirely devoted to the skills of creating your own liquid soaps, from natural oils and butters, on this hands-on one day workshop.
You will be learning about two very different methods:
• The first produces transparent or translucent soaps. These are often used in foamer bottles or can be thickened to use in a pump bottle.
• The second method allows us to create a thicker consistency and it also has a beautiful natural pearlescence to it.
Taking you from the very first steps of choosing the right ingredients, you will be gently guided through the various and fascinating stages of making your own liquid and cream soaps, shown ways to adapt them and learn how to create your own natural liquid soaps, speciality shower products and even natural shaving creams.
If you would love to learn how to make handmade silky smooth moisturising liquid soaps using traditional oils, exotic butters and essential oils from scratch the traditional way, then this is the course for you!
You will also learn how to use a wide range of herb and natural botanicals effectively in your soaps.
