In this week’s show, we are making Pomegranate cold process soap. This is one of the pantry soapmaking series, which showcases how to make simple but lovely handmade soaps using ingredients that you may have at home in the pantry or fridge or that is available from local stores rather than having to buy in and ship.
Pomegranate ends in a yellow-orange colour and not the bright red you would expect and you can use other parts of the pomegranate too. We often use the ground seeds in soap and you can purchase pomegranate powder in many local Asian food stores, so if you like an exfoliant you can certainly add some of those too 🙂 Happy soaping!
