How to Make Shea Butter Soap

In today’s video, we show how to make shea butter soap using just 3 simple oils. Shea butter soap is a much loved for its creamy feel and Shea butter is a prized African butter for many natural cosmetics and skincare products too.

We will be showing how to make shea butter soap at home using the same cold process soap recipe but in two different finishes to show you how to change the look and style of your shea butter soap.

SHEA BUTTER SOAP RECIPE

250g Shea Butter
150g Coconut OIl
100g Sweet Almond Oil
160g Water
69g Sodium hydroxide (Caustic soda) Lye
*Optional – 2g Strawberry mica (Supplied from Happy Olive – premix with 5g oil)
or use a colour of your choice
